the nervousness waiting for the doctor to arrive...
is almost more than I can bear.
Then those Dr. tool thingys really get me fired up.
Oh, this is my doctor, Dr. Hansen. Mommy and Daddy really like him.
I do too. When I'm awake.
Except when he puts his finger in my belly button like that.
It almost woke me up. Almost.
I don't think I should have had those cookies right before I came.
No one told me there was a scale involved. Now I'm awake.
Mom that's not right. Warn me next time.

Did she have to get any shots yet? That's all that woke Mikayla up for her early doctor's visits.
