Tynehead Park & the Salmon

Across the Way
We have a wonderful hiking park and dog park
and a river runs through it. We love to walk there
all year round, but in late Oct and early Nov we
get to see HUGE salmon spawning and swimming
upstream...it's so much fun!



















Here Mack and Daddy are looking at the
"big dead fish" who came to the end of his life
right here under the bridge. We prayed for this guy
for weeks after we saw it!!!
Learning about life and the cycles of life with a 2 year old,
hard and wonderful all at once.
